The information in this program will provide the learner with a good working knowledge of the stimulant and non-stimulant medications currently used to treat adult and childhood AD/HD. Also included is information on drug adherence and reasons for non-adherence; self-medication with alternative substances; scientific data on the relative danger of abuse of stimulant medications; and previous vs. current understandings of how these medications work to improve behavior in AD/HD.
