THE FINAL ACT.
On a beautiful day in the Yorkshire Dales, a man's body is found hanging from a tree. Everything points to suicide ... but why would such a well-liked and successful man want to take his own life?
When DI Annie Cabbot's investigation leads to another shattering discovery, DCI Alan Banks is called in. Banks soon finds himself plunged into a shadow-world where nothing is as it seems and murder is seen as a solution to a problem. But the deeper he digs, the more he fears the threat could extend to his own family and friends.
This case is far from closed - and Banks will risk everything to get to the truth.
A thrilling Alan Banks mystery from the master of the police procedural, Peter Robinson.
