John C.M. Lam received a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington. He has been employed in the semiconductor industries for over 13 years in various technical, sales and marketing management positions. He is the founder of JE Audio and was its Chief Design Engineer, designing and manufacturing high-end audio products. The firm holds four US patents for innovative amplifier designs. Even though he has now retired from JE Audio, John is still personally carrying out research on analog audio amplifier designs that are interesting to him.
