The Art of Throwing examines the practical nature of throwing pots and provides a historical background to act as inspiration. This new paperback edition analyses throwing as a language of expression, exploring ideas and how to develop them. Step-by-step photographs support the novice, while lavish illustrations and interviews with established craftspeople lead the more confident potter to explore new avenues of creativity.
