Dermatologic ultrasonography is an important method, being essential for diagnosing pathologic conditions. However, diagnostic imaging in dermatology goes far beyond ultrasonography. Other image modalities are also available such as radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging using surface coil with specific sequences. These techniques allow for 3D imaging reconstructions, which can be used to create 3D-printed anatomical models, and support biomodeling for detailed anatomical analysis and surgical planning.

This book intends to guide dermatologists and radiologists to dermatologic radiological imaging. For each lesion it describes: Epidemiology, Clinical presentation, Histopathology, Radiological signs on radiography, computed tomography, ultrasonography and MRI, where applicable. All images are accompanied by schematics and illustrations. It also includes 3D imaging reconstructions and videos for further clarity.
