Blackstone's Police Q&As 2017 are the essential revision tool for all police officers sitting the NPPF Step Two Legal Examination (formerly OSPRERG Part I). Written in partnership with the best-selling Blackstone's Police Manuals, the only study guides endorsed by the College of Policing, the Q&As' experienced author team follow subjects in the same sequence as the Manuals, providing the most authoritative means of self-testing outside of the promotion examinations.

The four volumes of Crime, Evidence and Procedure, Road Policing, and General Police Duties, reflecting Blackstone's Police Manuals, contain hundreds of multiple-choice questions designed to reinforce knowledge and understanding. Matching the only format of questions you will see in a NPPF Step Two Legal Examination, each question has a detailed and comprehensive answer that highlights not only the correct response, but also the reasoning behind the incorrect responses, allowing candidates to highlight any gaps or weaknesses in their knowledge. Full cross-references to the relevant Manual paragraphs and Keynotes encourage more effective studying, while a question checklist helps you track your progress.

The 2017 editions contain new and revised questions, reflecting changes in the Blackstone's Police Manuals. All four volumes have been updated in line with recent changes to legislation, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015, the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, the Criminal Procedure Rules 2015, the Serious Crime Act 2015, the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015, the Deregulation Act 2015, and the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, as well as revised PACE Code E (February 2016).

Recenzijas

Review from previous edition Review from previous edition Review from previous edition Any candidate that is serious about the promotion process would be well advised to purchase the Q&A books as an efficient, salient and efficient way of checking study progress. * Detective Constable, Bedfordshire Police * An excellent resource and revision aid for those studying for the Sergeants' and Inspectors' promotion examinations, and also great for officers who simply want to improve their knowledge and keep up to date with changes in legislation. * Stephen Armitage, Police Constable, North Yorkshire Police * The best way to pass the police promotion examination is to develop knowledge and technique through answering questions * Dr Richard Heslop, Sergeant, West Yorkshire Police *
