Recenzijas

Penny Reeve has been very clever in her light-hearted approach to what, for some, would be a very serious question. Looking at these sorts of questions in such a fun way is, indeed, a masterful way to engage young children. - Buzz Words Magazine

From picture books or young adult fiction, Penny Reeve writes to explore themes that matter. Her YA novel, Out of the Cages published by Rhiza Press, tackles modern day slavery. The Other Brother is a picture book about belonging and the power of compassion. Penny lives in western Sydney with her family and enjoys juggling a busy life with various writing commitments, including author visits. She loves family movie nights, lunch by the river and being tucked up in bed to read a new book! Penny also writes as Penny Jaye and Ella Shine. Shannon Melville is a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and community art teacher from Perth. She has illustrated the following books: My Arms Your Legs (Blake Education) by Kim Rackham, Matildas Morning Adventures and Choose Active Transport: A Teachers Resource (Physical Activity Taskforce, 2010) by Kim Chute. When she is not working Shannon loves walking with her husband, Ninian, Dora explorer Jaya, and sheep rounder Hugo.
