This book focuses on the behavioral interactions among possible stakeholders in carbon labeling practice, brings the attentions of stakeholders’ interests to explore the opportunities, and challenges related to carbon labeling practice, thus to provide insight into low-carbon consumption and production. It is essential reading for students, researchers, and policy makers as well as those with a wider interest in environmental science and sustainable development.

Carbon labeling and its related issues.- Consumers behavior towards
carbon labeling scheme.- Interaction among stakeholders involved in carbon
labeling scheme.- Carbon labeling improvement and its application.- Insights
and future study.
Dr. Rui Zhao received his Ph.D. degree in Sustainable Design and Technology, from the University of Hull, sponsored by Hull-China Joint Research Scholarship. Dr. Rui Zhao has received a full professorship in the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, Southwest Jiaotong University, China. Prof. Zhao is appointed as the head of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering. Prof. Zhaos current research in the field of sustainable engineering has focused on mathematical modeling and computational approaches, which is capable of providing mitigation strategies to limit environmental burden, as well as promote sustainable development. A significant proportion of his research is interdisciplinary study, while using a theory of system theory to identify and analyze environmental issues in order for better decision making in the area of low-carbon production and consumption. Prof. Zhao is acted as the principal investigator to undertake a number of projects, including the National Key Plan for Research and Development of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Sichuan Key Provincial Project, etc. Prof. Zhao has published 40 open literature publications as the first or corresponding author. Besides, Prof. Zhao is appointed as the associate editor for Journal "Energy & Environment" (SSCI indexed), "International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology" (SSCI indexed), the guest editor for Journal "Sustainability", and severed as the reviewers for several high quality journals.
