This stunning quilt design originated in the 1930s and is a great way to take hexagon quilts to the next level. The blocks are surprisingly quick to make, and somewhat addictiveyou will find that your quilt grows fast!

This is an excellent project for using up your scraps, as the patches needed are small; alternatively, you can use the quilt as a showcase for a favorite fabric range that you have been saving for a special project. The templates fit into 2-1/2 wide strips, so they can be used with Jelly Rolls, or similar pre-cut strips.

The blocks can be sewn on the machine for speed, but if you prefer, they can be sewn by hand just as well. You can even enterchange the two sewing methods if you wishit will make no difference to the appearance of your finished quilt.
