CESMM 3 Explained is a detailed and highly illustrated manual on the use of the new Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement.
An analysis of the 26 classes is provided together with a standard description library for each. Thorough explanations of the meaning and correct usage of the classification tables are given to enable the appropriate use of the item descriptions. Furthermore the author also provides detailed examinations of the Measurement, Definition, Coverage and Additional Description rules.
As well as offering the most detailed commentary to CESMM 3, this book provides suggested solutions to some of the more difficult areas of civil engineering measurement. Most importantly, it sets out (in over 150 pages) worked examples of the measurement of a variety of civil engineering projects together with notes on the measurement techniques used.
CESMM 3 Explained is prepared by a quantity surveyor with over 40 years experience, who has specialized in civil engineering. The manual is written and presented in a style that will be understood and appreciated by working quantity surveyors, civil engineers and students.

CESSM 3 Explained provides a detailed and highly illustrated guide to the use of the new civil engineering standard methods of measurements.
