Provides practical experience and research on new methodologies and important applications in chemical nanotechnology. It also includes small-scale nanotechnology related projects that have potential applications in several disciplines of chemistry and nanotechnology.

This new volume presents a wealth of practical experience and research on new methodologies and important applications in chemical nanotechnology. It also includes small-scale nanotechnology-related projects that have potential applications in several disciplines of chemistry and nanotechnology. In this book, contributions range from new methods to novel applications of existing methods to gain understanding of the material and/or structural behavior of new and advanced systems. Topics cover computational methods in chemical engineering and chemoinformatics, studies of some of physico-chemical properties of several important nanoalloy clusters, the use of 3D reconstruction of nanofibrous membranes, nanotechnology research for green engineering and sustainability, nanofiltration and carbon nanotubes applications in water treatment, and much more.

Francisco Torrens, PhD, is a lecturer in physical chemistry at the Universitat de Valčncia in Spain. His scientific accomplishments include the first implementation at a Spanish university of a program for the elucidation of crystallographic structures and the construction of the first computational-chemistry program adapted to a vector-facility supercomputer. He has written many articles published in professional journals and has acted as a reviewer as well. He has handled 26 research projects, has published two books and over 350 articles, and has made numerous presentations.

A. K. Haghi, PhD, is the author and editor of 165 books, as well as 1000 published papers in various journals and conference proceedings. He has received several grants, consulted for a number of major corporations, and is a frequent speaker to national and international audiences. Since 1983, he served as professor at several universities. He is the former Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Chemoinformatics and Chemical Engineering and Polymers Research Journal. He is also a member of the Canadian Research and Development Center of Sciences and Cultures.
