Huiping Chen is Professor of international law at Xiamen University School of Law. She was the Secretary-General of the Administrative Council of Xiamen Academy of International Law from 2005 to 2024. She is in the Review Board of the Journal of Transnational Corporations. She was invited by UNCTAD to participate in the International Investment Agreement Mapping Project as Expert and University Leader from 2012 to 2016. Her research fields focus on international investment law and international water law.  She has rich publications in both Chinese and English.
