Travel across time and continents in this heartwarming and humorous collection of Christmas memories. From a desert island to military training, a Mexican ranch to a soup kitchen in Arizona, the author shares candid tales of festive seasons spent in extraordinary places.

With elements of nostalgia, adventure, and wit, these stories offer a unique glimpse into Christmases celebrated in Bermuda, New York, Egypt, and beyond.

A charming blend of personal history and cultural insight, this book is perfect for those who love travel, tradition, and the magic of Christmas in unexpected settings.
Eric Carroll left school at 14 and joined the RAF as a Boy Entrant, serving for fifteen years. Since then, he has been a professional chef, a college lecturer in Bermuda, poet and traveller, amateur photographer and muralist, a ranchero in Mexico, bartender, EFL teacher, and a VSO Volunteer in Egypt. Now in his robust Eighties and long retired, Eric is still occupied in creative writing and, as he puts it, remaining fit and healthy so as to sustain his literary work.
