TONY WRIGHT is Principal Lecturer in International Education at the College of St Mark and St John, Plymouth, UK. He has more than thirty years' experience in language teaching, and teacher education more generally. He has lived and taught in Africa, the Middle East, South East Asia, Latin America and continental Europe. Among his publications are Roles of Teachers and Learners and Investigating English.
