Nancy enters fairy land in pursuit of her cat, but the fairies refuse to give him back. As a last resort she offers to tell the fairies stories, and the fairy king and his people quickly become enraptured by her inter-connected tales. A beautiful celebration of the power of storytelling.

When Nancys cat Pangur is stolen by the Faery people, she finds herself striking  deal like no other: she is now the one-and-only storyteller for the Faery Kingdom. So starts Mįire Zepfs enchanting story collection, reminiscent of fairytales and fables of past and present, but entirely new.

From ghost dragons to magical hats and a dreamweaving giantess, these are tales that awaken the senses and manage to connect with each other in a way reminiscent of 1001 Arabian Nights, perfect for voracious readers and bedtime story consumers alike.
Mįire Zepf has written 16 books for children, from picture books to a YA verse novel. Winner of the Children's Books Ireland childrens Book of the Year, 5 Literature Association of Ireland Childrens Book Awards and 2 international White Ravens among many others, her books appear in 10 languages worldwide. Her Rita series of picture books with illustrator Mr. Ando has recently been adapted for television. She is screen-writer and co-creator of the celtic anime series Lķ Ban. The Co. Down author was the first Childrens Writing Fellow for Northern Ireland, based at the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry at Queen's University Belfast. Mįire loves sea-swimming and crisps.

Andrew Whitson is an award-winning artist, author, publisher, and Belfast native who likes to be called Mr Ando! He lives in an old house nestled on the side of a misty hill, at the edge of a magic wood, below an enchanted castle, in the shadow of a giant's nose. He first began working as a professional artist at the age of sixteen, where he painted rock band album covers onto the backs of denim jackets for a fee of £10 each, which proved lucrative at that time .Andrew has illustrated over thirty books.
