By popular demand among sports car collectors and enthusiasts, this book compiles all three of the publishers Triumph TR volumes (two of which are now out of print) into one updated resource, covering the iconic sports cars entire run, from the TR2 of 1953 to the TR8 of 1981. Piggott draws on his experience as archivist and principal registrar of the TR Register, along with his unique access to Triumph research and archives, to cover every detail of every model in the series. Exterior colors, mechanical systems, and all of the TRs myriad small features are noted and profiled. Details of TR identification, verification, and restoration are illustrated with high quality color photos of perfect specimens on every page, by freelance automotive photographer Simon Clay. For this edition, errors have been corrected, new information has been added, and some material has been reorganized, with one buying guide covering all models. Annotation ©2009 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com) The legendary Triumph TR series of sports cars has always been a favorite among sports car collectors and enthusiasts.
