He is Honorary Visiting Professor of Electronic and Microwave Engineering at the University of Bradford, UK and is the author of six books. He resides in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. Jerry Whitaker is the president of Technical Press, and the former editor of Broadcast Engineering. He is the author of more than a dozen technical books, including McGraw-Hill's Standard Handbook of Video and Television Engineering. He lives in Morgan Hill, California.
