David J. Barron is the Senior Cardiac Surgeon at Birmingham Children's Hospital NHS Trust and has written over 100 peer-reviewed papers in congenital heart surgery. The Birmingham team have particular experience in managing hypoplastic left heart syndrome, congenitally corrected transposition and complex pulmonary atresia.
