Desperate Rants and Magic Pants: Our fertility story [Mīkstie vāki]

ITV Wales News anchor Andrea Byrne tells the story of the battle she and rugby star husband Lee Byrne faced in trying to start a family. Seven long years of invasive medical procedures and alternative therapies (including 'magic pants'!) that didn't help left them almost completely without hope. And yet their story finally had a happy ending: baby Jemima. Andrea now hosts a podcast called 'Making Babies' and is a Tedx speaker on fertility. By talking candidly about her own story, she wants to help break one of life's big taboos and encourage couples in a similar situation to open up and get the support they desperately need. The book will feature unpublished photos of the family as well as sections on the stories of guests to Andrea's podcast, which include well-known names such as comedian Geoff Norcott and BBC TV sports presenter Gabby Logan.
