Dr. Surajbhan Sevda completed his Ph.D. in 2013 from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, New Delhi, India. He is currently an assistant professor at the Department of Biotechnology, National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. Prior to this, he was a scientific officer (research scientist) at IIT Guwahati, India. Dr. Sevda has authored over 52 research articles in scientific journals and contributed 44 book chapters. He has also edited eight books covering topics such as green energy, solid waste management, mathematical and statistical applications in food engineering, electrochemistry, and bioreactor design for vaccine production. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan in 2006 and his Master of Technology in Fermentation Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly UDCT), University of Mumbai, India, in 2008. In 2018, he was a visiting scientist at the University of Calgary, Canada.
