A compilation of the research being done by scientists from various disciplines of chemistry at various universities across the globe. It provides a wealth of practical experience and research on new methodologies and important applications in chemical science.

Here is a compilation of the research being done by scientists from various disciplines of chemistry at universities across the globe. This new volume provides a wealth of practical experience and research on new methodologies and important applications in chemical science. It also includes presentations on small-scale new drug design related projects that have potential applications in several disciplines of chemistry and in drug development. In this book, contributions range from new methods to novel applications of existing methods to enhance understanding of the material and/or structural behavior of new and advanced systems.
Topics cover computational methods in chemical sciences and electrochemical investigations; studies of some of physico-chemical properties of several important novel macrocyclic ligands; the use of lanthanide-ions doped nanomaterials; quantitative estimation of heavy metals, a sustainable, efficient and green promoter for the synthesis of some heterocyclic compounds; and much more.

1. Electrochemical Investigations of the Antibiotic Drug Linezolid in Pharmaceuticals and Spiked Human Urine by Stripping Voltammetric Techniques
2. Recent Highlights in Electrophilic Fluorination with 1-Fluoro-2, 4, 6-Trimethylpyridinium Tetrafluoroborate and Nfsi (N-Fluorobenzenesulfonimide) Reagents Directed towards the Synthesis of Heterocycles
3. Microwave-Mediated Non-Template Synthesis of Some Novel Macrocyclic Ligands for Potential Molecular Metallacages
4. Lanthanide-Ions Doped Nanomaterials for Light Emission Applications
5. Quantitative Estimation of Heavy Metals (As, Hg, Cd and Pb) in Human Blood Samples Collected from Different Areas of Rajasthan
6. Shedding Light on New Drug Designs by Modeling Peptide Structures via Quantum Chemical Methods in the Health Field
7. A Sustainable, Efficient, and Green Promoter for the Synthesis of Some Heterocyclic Compounds
8. Investigations into the Interactions of Vinblastine with Proteins and Nucleic Acid
9. Synthesis, Characterization, and Biological Evaluation of 12-Membered-N4-Macrocyclic Transition Metal Complexes
