Schools and other forms of education have significant impacts on people's views about emotions and emotional experiences. This book helps students and educators to better understand emotions and their significance in social life and in education. Liz Jackson is Professor of International Education at the Education University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. She is the immediate past president of the Philosophy of Education Society of Australasia and the former director of the Comparative Education Research Centre at the University of Hong Kong. She is the author of Beyond Virtue: The Politics of Educating Emotions (2020) and Founder of the ViEW Platform (Virtues in Education East and West).
