Beloved cross-stitch designer Gail Bussi is back with a new collection of designs inspired by the imagery of a discovered garden full of secret delights. Designs feature favourite flowers such as roses and sunflowers; birds, bees, and butterflies; herbs and tea; the changing seasons and glorious sunshine. The thoughts and meditations in her designs are meant to uplift and bring peace as you stitch them. Gail also includes a few recipes made from fresh garden herbs and flowers. Try her suggestions to make a cup of chamomile tea sweetened with an herb-infused honey while you stitch a lovely experience for all of your senses!





Each design is created in Gail's signature chalk art style and includes chart, finished photo, a materials list, and full instructions. If you are new to cross-stitch or need a refresher, turn to the introductory section to get started. Gail Bussi has had her cross-stitch designs published in all of the major needlework magazines in the UK, US, and France, and is the author of several needlework books. Her images and artwork have also been made into greeting cards and other items. After suffering personal trauma, she stopped creating for a time, but has recently found healing through the power of stitching meaningful words in her designs and finding peace in the stitching itself. With this book, she seeks to share this power with others.
