This proceedings volume represents the fifth Energy Technologies and Carbon Dioxide Management symposium (known in 2007 and 2008 as the symposium on CO2 Reduction Metallurgy, and in 2010 and 2011, as the symposium on Energy Technology). Thirty of the 45 papers are from "Carbon Dioxide Management and Other Technologies," held as part of the The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society meeting in 2012, in Orlando, Florida. The remaining 15 papers are from related stand-alone TMS symposia. Along with the topics indicated in the title, papers address waste heat recovery, battery recycling, magnetic materials for energy applications, materials in clean power systems (clean coal- and hydrogen based technologies, fuel cells), mechanical performance of materials for current and advanced nuclear reactors, and processing to control morphology and texture in magnetic materials. The volume is distributed by Wiley for The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society. Annotation ©2013 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR (booknews.com)

Proceedings of symposia sponsored by the Energy Committee of the Extraction and Processing Division and the Light Metals Division of TMS (The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society)
