Liam Leonard is Lecturer in Sociology & Criminology, California State University, Los Angeles, USA. He has published over 20 books and numerous journal articles, and is Series Editor for both the Ecopolitics and Advances in Sustainability and Environmental Justice book series, as well as Founding Editor of CRIMSOC Journal of Social Criminology. He is former President of the Sociology Association of Ireland and was awarded the Sage Publishing Research Excellence Award in New York as well as the Irish NAIRTL Research & Teaching Award in 2012.
