Captured after committing a string of convenience store robberies, Roger Shuster tries to cut a deal when he tips Queens Robbery Squad detectives Steve Danski and Gregory Litchfield to the man he claims is responsible for the 2009 abduction of high-priced criminal defense attorney Sid Weinstein's daughter Barbara the night before her thirteenth birthday. Though Barbara remains missing, the case has been put in the Cold Case files.
