Eoin Colfer started writing in primary school with gripping Viking stories inspired by what he was learning in class. In 2001 he published the first book in the Artemis Fowl series, which went on to sell millions of copies across the globe. He says, I will keep writing until people stop reading or I run out of ideas. Hopefully neither of these will happen anytime soon. Eoin lives in Ireland with his wife and two children and was the Laureate na nog (Irish Childrens Laureate) from 2014-2016. || Peter Bailey was born in India and grew up in London, where his father worked at the Victoria & Albert Museum and where Peter was first inspired to start drawing. In his extraordinary career he has illustrated over 100 books by authors and poets, including Philip Pullman, Allan Ahlberg and Alexander McCall Smith. Peters beautiful line drawings bring to life many different worlds, both real and imagined.
