It works in three parts:

The first part explains the exam papers students will take, what they need to revise for each paper, how exams are marked, and how to aim for the highest grades.

The second part contains guidance about how to answer exam questions, from short answers (1-3 marks) to answers requiring extended writing (4, 8, and 12 marks). There is space for students to write and assess answers so that they learn how to produce good-quality exam answers. Answers to these questions are provided in the book.
