When the Christian faith came to the Chagga living on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the missionaries started their work in Moshi chiefdom, where the gospel took root first at Old Moshi, now called Kidia. This book presents the history of that congregation, including interaction with its famous missionary, Bruno Gutmann, of whom people still say today that he spoke the Chagga language better than any of them.
