This seventh edition of the directory contains a total of 5,257 listings in five sections. Many listings contain direct phone and email addresses. The section on federal agencies contains 18 main chapters, 12 subchapters, and 513 listings, dealing with the Department of Homeland Security and its directorates and related federal departments, plus the Environmental Protection Agency, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, the Executive Office of the President, and the US House of Representatives and Senate. Each listing gives information on the department or branch's headquarters, its work, key officials, and contacts. The state agency section contains 788 alphabetical listings organized in state chapters; it lists state Homeland Security offices and state agencies responsible for emergency management, state police, emergency services, the National Guard, and state contingency planning agencies. The first listing in each state is the Main Homeland Security office. The next section, on manufacturers and suppliers, offers alphabetical listing of 753 products and services related to security, provided by about 3,228 companies, mainly in the private sector. Each profile includes a company description, address and contacts, website, and a listing of products and services provided. The last section compiles 728 entries on industry resources, in categories such as associations, periodicals, tradeshows and seminars, directories and databases, and web sites. Each listing contains contact information, description, and the name of at least one key executive. The directory includes name, personnel, and product and services indexes.
