After several years of architectural practice, she opted to pursue postgraduate studies and finished her PhD research. Her primary area of interest in architecture education is the responsive architectural design approach to local context and identity. In addition to the responsive design approach, she is particularly interested in doing research on public participation exercises in development frameworks. Her current research delves deeper to increase public involvement toward a holistic approach of sustainable built environment.
