Isabelle Palmer is the founder of The Balcony Gardener www.thebalconygardener.com), an online company specialising in product ranges for small urban outdoor spaces balconies, patios, containers and terraces. Isabelle grew up in Worcestershire, then studied at Chelsea College of Art and Design, before embarking on a degree in Economics and working in PR. She has always been a keen gardener and began by using her own balconies to create a little green oasis. Confident that others would want to do the same, she started her successful business. The author is based in West Hampstead, London.
