"Following the move to online teaching programs in the pandemic, children with special needs faced even greater challenges, including digital exclusion and the threat of being left behind, as well as the inability of teachers to teach them appropriately due to an absence of appropriate assistive equipment, internet access, accessible materials and poor preparedness (Parmigiani et al. 2021). However, in the pandemic, teachers implemented numerous inclusive pedagogical strategies to accommodate students' diverse learning needs in online and phygital learning settings. In this book, these pedagogical approaches will be presented as examples of best practices in inclusive phygital teaching. Furthermore, the book will contribute to ongoing research on inclusive teaching practices in the COVID-19 crisis, considering challenges and prospects and will examine teachers' responses to adversity in different contexts around the globe. It will further explore inclusive teachers' qualities and skills, effective classroom teaching practices, and methods of planning and implementing inclusive phygital classroom environments that have been successful. Furthermore, we will discuss recommendations on how teachers can build stronger, more inclusive systems in a crisis"--
