Barney Langford is a retired teacher and youth arts practitioner. He is the founding Artistic Director of 2 Til 5 Youth Theatre (now Tantrum Youth Arts), one of Australias leading professional youth arts companies. He was for 15 years the Manager of the Loft Youth Arts and Cultural Centre. He lectured part time at University of Newcastle 19902003. He was awarded his doctorate in 2020 and his doctoral dissertation is the basis for this monograph. Barneys interests include youth arts, youth studies and psephology.
