In addition, the book opens with an extensive, 60 page atlas of diagnostic procedures, including CT-guided biopsies, that feature both general techniques and specific illustrations by organ system. Within each chapter, the authors are careful to review anatomy, pathology, symptomatology, examination, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, and complications, as well as techniques in great detail ("how we do it"), superbly illustrated, with lists of instrumentation and medications.
