|Merve Özel Özcan - Editor|Merve Suna Ozel Ozcan is an Associate Professor of International Relations at Kirikkale University, Türkiye. She is also vice chair of the International Relations Department. She graduated from Gazi University, Türkiye, Department of International Relations, and completed a double major in the Department of History in 2011. In 2013, she became a research assistant at Kirikkale University. She earned her Master's degree in the Department of Political and Social Science at Gazi University in 2014 and her PhD in International Relations from Kirikkale University in 2019, becoming an Associate Professor at the university in 2020. She is currently pursuing a second PhD in Political and Social Sciences at Gazi University. Her research focus covers Russian studies, great powers, energy, and international relations in Eurasia. Özcan is also the author of the book "Imparatorluklar: Geēmiten Bugüne Büyük Güēler (Empires: Great Powers from Past to Present), and edited "Souk Sava Sonras: Sistem, Devlet ve Tarih (Post-Cold War: System, State, and History), "Russia-Eurasia Relations: Actors, Issues and Challenges" and "Analyzing Energy Crises and the Impact of Country Policies on the World".
