Dr. Srijan Bhattacharya (M16, SM20), is working as Assistant Professor & Head in Dept. of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engg., (AEIE) in RCC Institute of Information Technology, Kolkata, India. He did B.E. in Electronics & Instrumentation Engg. from Gandhi Institute of Engineering & Technology (Presently GIET University), Orissa, India (2003) and M. Tech in Electrical Engineering (Specialization Mechatronics) from National Institute of Technical Teachers Training & Research, Kolkata, India (2008) and PhD from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, India (2017). He received Gold medal from West Bengal University of Technology, West Bengal [ Presently Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT)]. He had published book title "Advancements in Instrumentation and Control in Applied System Applications" as single editor with IGI Global, USA, and a conference proceedings with Book Series - Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering, Springer.

He is Associate Guest Editor for Springer Journal of "The Institution of Engineers (India): Series B", He has published 30+ peer-reviewed journals/Book Chapter/conference papers and completed one Research project sponsored by - Institution of Engineers (India) - IE(I). He has been involved with academic administration as, Board of Studies Member - AEIE MAKAUT, West Bengal, GIET University, India, He is also coordinator of Student Chapter RCCIIT - The Robotics Society (TRS) - India. He is also Life Member of The Institution of Engineers (India), The Robotics Society (TRS) India, His research interest is in Mechatronics system design, Sensors design and application, smart material - Ionic Polymer Metal Composite (IPMC).
