Khaled Ziada is an academic interventional cardiologist and has been in that field for more than 20 years. He joined the Cleveland Clinic Department of Cardiovascular Medicine as Co-director of Coronary Artery Disease Center and Chief Academic Officer for Cardiovascular Interventions in September 2020. He has extensive experience in treating patients with coronary artery disease medically and in the catheterization laboratory. He also has extensive experience in coronary artery disease, coronary interventions, coronary physiology, and coronary imaging since his research fellowship in 1995. He has published more than 130 peer-reviewed articles and authored numerous book chapters in the major textbooks in the field of interventional cardiology. He has participated in clinical trials addressing coronary physiology, intravascular imaging, drug-eluting stents, novel antiplatelet agents, acute coronary syndromes as well as renal denervation, and peripheral arterial disease. He is currently serves as Associate Editor for JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions.
