Giovanna Imperia is a fine craft jeweller whose work features various dimensional techniques such as kumihimo and weaving and incorporates wire, fibre, beads and other mediums. A former artist-in-residence at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, she has been teaching workshops on kumihimo since 2001. Her work has been exhibited and is included in private and museum collections throughout the US and internationally and has also been published in various textile and jewellery publications.
