This book will provide all the basic details of neuroanaesthesia and how management of different neurosurgical cases may differ. Simple issues such as neurological examination of patient, understanding CT-scan and MRI scans along with anaesthetic management are discussed in simple language, making this book a ready-reckoner. The title provides an insight into all possible aspects of anesthetic management of neurosurgical and commonly encountered neurologic patients. The book also includes chapters related to allied specialities such as critical care, neurology and neuroradiology, making it a complete package.

Recenzijas

I highly recommend this textbook for practicing anesthetists who encounter the opportunity to anesthetize for neurosurgical procedures. The language is easy to understand, the information is generally well organized and easy to follow, and the diagrams add value to the text.Margot Rumball, FANZCA Jamie W. This book covers all important aspects relating to Neuroanesthesia. Fifty contributors from around the world who are experts in their areas of clinical experience provided specialized information in the various chapters. Mainly targeted to neuroanesthesiologists and anesthesiologists in training, this book provides important information on how to manage different neurosurgical, neurological, and neuroradiologic cases. This manual would be very interesting and educational for intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring technologists (IONM) as well as neurodiagnostic technologists being trained in operating room monitoring.
