The first volume of the "German-Georgian yearbook"-series presents perspectives from both countries on our common debates on human dignity and human rights. The chapters will deal with the historicity and irreversibility of human rights, the relationship between democracy and human rights and on the influence of cultural background contexts on the dynamics of claims to realize and protect human dignity and human rights.
