This book is the fourth in a series that began at the 1992 MRS Fall Meeting, long before nanotechnology had become a buzzword. As with the previous books in the series, the objective here is to bring together scientists from around the world, and from many disciplines, to share and discuss the synthesis, processing and properties of nanophase materials and composites and their applications in nanotechnology.
