PK Gupta obtained his PhD in Toxicology and taught as Visiting Professor at both the University of Tennessee and West Virginia University in the United States before returning to India as Professor of Toxicology at the Indian Veterinary Research Institute. He has served as advisor to the World Health Organization, consultant to the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, and brings more than 50 years of expertise in animal toxicology to the project.
