Night at the Museum meets The Land of Stories in this thrilling new graphic novel adventure series in which two siblings, a mysterious Night Librarian, and a motley cast of book characters try to save the New York Public Library

Twins Page and Turner know about the magic a library holds—they’ve been going to their beloved New York City public library for years, especially since their parents are always traveling for work.

But a secret mission involving their dad’s rare and valuable edition of Bram Stoker’s Dracula uncovers a world they’ve never known, featuring a mysterious Night Librarian, famous heroes (and villains) that have broken free from classic books, and an epic battle to save the library from total destruction.

Recenzijas

"[ A]n illuminating ode to the enduring power of storytelling in this freewheeling graphic novel adventure through the stacks . . . thin, intricate linework paired with a monochromatic palette that shifts between warm and cool tones to demarcate day and night impart mood and tension to the supernatural chaos. Via playful interweaving of literary references and puns, Lincoln pays homage to classic tales and the characters who populate them. All told, its a heartening tale of personal growth, mutual appreciation, and the unbreakable bonds of family, wrapped in a visually captivating package." Publishers Weekly, starred review

"[ A] love letter to libraries and to literature, Lincolns absolutely delightful graphic tale incorporates influences from many recognizable literary work . . . The fluid artwork features scribbly lines, interestingly laid-outpanels, and creative use of a strikingly unusual color palette . . . Charming, highly original, and sure to secure its own place in the graphic canon." Kirkus, starred review

"[ A] wonderful adventure filled with fantasy high jinks, snarky middle grade comments, and plenty of literary references that any library lover will appreciate. But the real star is Lincolns artworkhis classic yet cartoony Quentin Blakeinspired style brings the book to life with its many illustrations. The vintage feel of the character design pairs well with the many classic literary elements and gives a timeless feel to the piece as a whole. Magical and inventivea great adventure." School Library Journal

Christopher Lincoln is the author of the Billy Bones series. He graduated from the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University and spent nearly a decade working as an animator.
