Agata Rembielak, MD PhD, is an oncologist who focuses on the care of patients with skin cancer. She graduated from medicine and medical physics, followed by a specialist training in radiation oncology in Poland. She completed fellowships in Australia, Canada and UK. She subsequently was appointed a Clinical Oncology Consultant at The Christie Hospital in Manchester and an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at The University of Manchester, UK. She is a member of the European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) where she leads on skin brachytherapy and is a director on the multidisciplinary skin cancer course. Dr Rembielak co-authored British Association of Dermatology skin SCC guidelines and ESTRO guidelines on skin brachytherapy. In addition, she chairs the Skin Cancer in Older Patients taskforce for the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG). She serves on the editorial board of Clinical Oncology and Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy.

Luca Tagliaferri, MD,PhD, graduated in Medicine and surgery at "Universitą Cattolica del Sacro Cuore" in Rome, followed by radiation oncology fellowship. In 2018 he obtained the associate professor qualification and in 2021 the full professor qualification (ASN - National Scientific Qualification). Dr Tagliaferri is the head of the Interventional Radiotherapy Unit at the Gemelli-ART (Advanced Radiation Therapy) at Policlinico Universitario Agostino Gemelli-IRCCS(Rome). The focus of his clinical and research activities is head&neck, skin, gynaecological and prostate cancer.In addition, he is involved in teaching and in medical software development that supports research and clinical practice with special focus on Artificial intelligence . At European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology He chairs the Head&Neck and Skin GEC-ESTRO Working Group and is a member of GEC-ESTRO committee and guidelines committee. At the Italian Association of Radiation and Clinical Oncology (AIRO) he coordinated activities of the Metabolic Radiotherapy (2015-16) and the Interventional Radiotherapy Working Groups (2018-19), currently He is member of AIRO executive board. His research and clinical activity have led to more than 150 papers in peer-reviewed scientific journals and book chapters. He is on editorial board of the Journal of Contemporary Brachytherapy and Brachytherapy.
