Ao, Lin, and Wei prove the existence of non-topological solutions for the system with Cartan matrix A2 and B2. Taking each case in turn, they present several important preliminaries of analysis. They formulate the problem in terms of the functional equations, then apply the classification and non-degeneracy results of Lin-Wei-Ye and establish the invertibility properties of the linearized operator. Finally, they obtain the next two orders, solve a projected nonlinear problem based on the preliminary results, and prove their main theorem.
