Umendra Narayan Shukla, PhD, is Professor at the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India, where he also held the roles of Head of the Department of Travel & Tourism Management and the Department of Hotel Management and Director of the Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management and Dean of Faculty of Management. Dr. Shukla has over 27 years of teaching experience at the university level. He is a member of the boards of studies and academic committees of tourism at various universities in India. He has presented his research at national and international conferences, including in countries such as Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Italy. He has been invited as an expert as well as resource person by many forums of academicians to deliver talks on sustainable and ecotourism, adventure tourism, personality development, and spiritual management. He has published his research in books, magazines, and journals.

Sharad Kumar Kulshreshtha, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, North-Eastern Hill University (A Central University), Shillong-Meghalaya, India. He has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. He has published research papers in books and journals of national repute and has participated and presented many research papers at national and international seminars and conferences. He has been invited as a resource person at various universities and business associations of India to deliver talks as a subject expert. Dr. Kulshreshtha has guest edited a special issue on "Tourism in Times of COVID-19" for the journal Anais Brasileiros de Estudos Turķsticos and has edited and authored many books on hospitality topics.
