The final program in this five-part series will deal with post-partum care, including information on breast-feeding, hormonal changes, and physiologic healing of the birth process, whether vaginal or cesarean delivery. Actual patients are filmed so that assessment techniques as well as interventions to alleviate pain and promote healing can be visualized. In addition, parent teaching is featured.
