This book contains a compilation of lessons learned over a lifetime of study in the school of hard knocks through a wide spectrum of activities that range from family interactions on the one hand to complex business/professional involvements on the other. As a result, numerous personal examples, coupled with biblically and spiritually based inspirational material, are provided that serve to illustrate the ideas and concepts that have been applied to achieve a winning outcome in these environments. Within the context of this book, winning refers to the attainment of a successful outcome, regardless of the context, and although many of the concepts and ideas discussed will be confined primarily to the interpersonal relationships among individuals and presented in the framework of a business or family environment, they are also applicable when dealing with members of a civic organization, a church group, a professional organization, or any other group where people interact or work together for some common goal.
