This volume gathers Rainer Ganahls numerous works devoted to Alfred Jarry, the playwright, novelist, avid cyclist and chief theorist of Pataphysics. Ganahl, in whose art bicycles are a recurrent motif, here presents a series of staged photographs of himself with a bike, costumed as Jarry, as well as Jarry-related sculptures and drawings, weaving a semi-fictitious portrait of the great man.
